Exposing the Desert: StoryMaps
Our ArcGIS StoryMaps takes our readers on a visual storyteliing journey filled with immersive content created by graduate student research, Sarah Foruzan M.A., and undergraduate student research assistants, Isabelle Swanson and Preeti Juturu with the assistance of the Center for Health Disparities (HDR@UCR) team. The Exposing the Desert is a three-part series from different perspectives.
Exposing the Desert: Environmental Justice in California's Desert Wetland is the first in a series capturing the impact of the "Childhood Asthma and the Salton Sea" project.
